At the present time, the Norristown Area School District has Substitute Food Service Worker positions available. 

Location:  District wide

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food service experience preferred but not required   
• Valid clearances - FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse, & PA Criminal Background Clearances

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures
• Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program
• Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed
• Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures 
• Assist in the clean up and sanitation of food service preparation areas,serving areas,dishwashing, and pot washing areas

Rate: $16.75/hour(Updated Sub Rate)
