Effective January 2025, a vacancy exists for a Cafeteria Manager within the Norristown Area School District located at Whitehall Elementary School. 

Requirements: 

• High school Diploma or its equivalent
• Two years food service experience
• Experience as a manager/ supervisor in Food Service environment (preferred) 
• Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage Food Service operations
• Implement District planned menu; plans quality of food to be prepared and served
• Promotes student wellness by purchasing foods that meet the Nutritional standards for Competitive Foods in the a la carte program. 
• Provides training and development in the areas of safety and accident prevention. Oversees HACCP system and documentation
• Maintain daily cash receipts and income records
• Maintain Inventory of food and supplies
• Maintain Clean and safe working environment

Salary & Schedule:

(7:00am- 2:30pm)
