At this time, vacancies exist for Part Time Food Service workers within the Norristown Area School District, at various locations.

Part time hours range from 3 hours to 4.75 hours per day.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food service experience preferred  
• Valid clearances - FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse & PA Criminal Background Clearances
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures
• Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program
• Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed
• Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures 

Schedule and Rate:

Monday - Friday
