A current vacancy exists for a Life Skills Support Paraprofessional within the Norristown Area School District at Norristown Area High School. 

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or 48 Postsecondary Credits
• Bilingual in Spanish Preferred 
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Duties:                                                        

• Provides instructional support to students
• Supports students with personal care skills including but not limited to toileting, handwashing, dressing, etc
• Implement applied behavior analysis techniques 
• Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
• Implement students' behavior plans
• Collect data
• Apply therapeutic aggression control techniques
• Performs related duties as required
• Supports students within the general education classrooms when necessary

Hourly Rate, 2026-2027:
